# Purpose: install Firefox extensions
# Details: This PowerShell script installs Firefox extensions into the main C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\extensions folder
# so that they are available to all users. This has been tested for extensions (including dictionaries). It's not designed for plugins.

#   By default Firefox will not automatically "enable" new extensions that it finds on it's next startup for a specific user. Users typically
#   have to acknowlege and approve its installation. To auto-approve new extensions that get copied to Firefox's own extension folder, you must ensure
#   that the setting "extensions.autoDisableScopes" (in about:config) does not include the bit-value for "all users of this computer". More details about this

#   Look under the section "Preventing automatic install from specific locations". These "scopes" are defined in the previous section "Disabling install locations".
#   You need to ensure that the value of this setting is NEITHER 8 or 15. A setting of 0-7 will allow the newly-installed extension to run (be enabled)
