Demonstrates how to resize a PowerShell Window, use a count-down timer, toggle a keystroke, and automate logging off your computer. I wrote this so I’d have a simple reminder of these things but I ended up running the script at the start of each work day. ConvertTo-DekiContent is an improvement on New-HtmlHelp, with a specific focus on output suitable for DekiWiki. I commented out the html and body tags, etc. because the HTML markup is destined for the DekiWiki. I initially wrote this ASCII art character script to be used with a modified version of PowerBot 2.0 (ID 2510 on poshcode). It outputs ASCII art letters from what you supply as a parameter (if the characters are supported). Either to STDOUT with Write-Host (colors are supported) or to the pipeline. It’s useless without the XML that’s found at powershelladmin.com. This script is a proof of concept. Further work needs to be done. It requires the user to enter a valid username and password for a gmail.com account. This is an overhaul of Jeffrey Snover’s original Start-Demo script … I’ve switched it to use ReadKey, which saves you some typing and makes the whole thing seem more natural when you’re demoing, (at least to me). I’ve also added a bunch of command-line options and a couple of features in the process (see the Revision History in the script). check-in: ae7c9f604e user: Wojciech Sciesin tags: trunk
