It lists streaming stations from various directory services (Shoutcast, Xiph, Internet-Radio, gJamendo, SurfMusic, MyOggRadio, iCast, Live365, Youtube), and leaves playback to your audio app (Audacious, Amarok, Exaile, Totem, VLC), while recording is deferred to streamripper.
