It lists streaming stations from various directory services (Shoutcast, Xiph, Jamendo, SurfMusik, MyOggRadio, Live365, Youtube), and leaves playback to your audio app (Audacious, Amarok, Exaile, Totem, VLC), while recording is deferred to streamripper.
